Melinda Applegate holds an honorary degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Heartwood Institute, Garberville, California.
A member of the National Qigong Association, Melinda demonstrates her ongoing commitment to excellence as a certified Qigong and Tai Chi instructor from Lee Holden's Chi Center in Santa Cruz, California.
Melinda's diverse expertise is further strengthened by a Community Leadership certification from the Institute of Integral Qigong and Tai Chi taught by Master Instructor, Dr. Roger Jahnke, OMD, L.Ac.
Driven by an unwavering pursuit of mastery, Melinda undertook an immersive journey to Wudang Mountain, China, to study Tai Chi directly with Master Zhou Xin Chen, head coach of the Wudang Mountain Martial Arts School.
Over the past 23 years. she has studied with master teachers accruing over 1500 hours of training.
Beyond her expertise in Qigong and Tai Chi, Melinda Applegate is a profoundly gifted healing arts practitioner. As a licensed and certified bodyworker, she distinguishes herself through an exceptional blend of intuitive insight and a deeply compassionate commitment to each client's unique journey.
For over two decades, Melinda has dedicated herself to the Asian Healing Arts, a path ignited by her own transformative journey with Qigong and Tai Chi over 28 years ago. From personal healing to accomplished bodyworker and certified Qigong instructor, she now shares her passion, empowering others to discover their own path to joy and well-being.
